A Blog Worth Reading December 4, 2005

These days, many blogs plague the internet with their nonsensical blather. But, I have for you, one worth taking at least a look at.

I give you Writer’s Block Live, the blog of one of the former high up developers at Apple, Mike Evangelist. One could call him a “former Apple executive”, but his recent post actually asks that you don’t. Still, he was in fact a head developer of iDVD, as well as someone who worked closely with Steve Jobs himself.

His blog is actually just a brainstorm he is using to organize his ideas for a book he is writing about his exprerience at Apple, and I for one will buy it.

Well, while we’re on the subject, those of you who haven’t been to digg.com yet should be ashamed in yourselves. It’s THE tech news source. And then a great tech blog in www.engadget.com. And then, why not mention, Make Magzine’s imaginative, innovative weblog, at www.makezine.com.

And you had better be viewing his in Mozilla Firefox, or else you’re not worthy of seeing these sites.

So, if you haven’t heard me say it before, I thinnk the ETS, Evil Testing Serivice, is evil and corrupt. And aside from that, just plain ol’ annoying.

That said, I think it is worth mentioning that yesterday, on Saturday December 3, 2005. I went to take my SAT 2s in Physics and Math 2 2 HOURS LATE, and got away with it.

My excuse for why I was late is a lame one. My parents overslept. My mom was pretty panicked. Eventually my dad and I went over to Elanor Roosevelt HS, my test center, and told them I got sick that morning. The people there were really accomodating. Since the SAT 2s are a little over 3 hours for you to do a maximum of 3 tests, I was able to enter as they fiished their first tests and take my 2. Worked out for the best. I’m surprised too. I got more sleep and everything. But, I would not advise anyone else try their luck at this sort of crazy foolery.
